The Little Justice Leaders box is a monthly subscription that will help you talk about and engage in social justice issues with your child or your students. In each package, you will find resources that will guide you to have conversations with your child or students about these issues in an age-appropriate way.
Each month, you will receive a box full of goodies that help you talk to your child or students about social justice in an age-appropriate way for kids in grades K-8th grade. You have the option to subscribe for a family box that will arrive at your house each month or a digital subscription that arrives in your email inbox each month. We also have a sibling pack for families with more than one child, and a teacher box for teachers. The physical box is packed with physical resources to help guide your conversations and activities while learning about the topics. This is a great option to help your child to get excited about receiving the package each month and to guide the conversations with physical resources. The digital subscription for parents includes only the content and information with none of the physical resources. This is a great option if you want to help your kids learn about social justice while on a budget.
Each month, you will find something new in your box focused on a social justice issue. The family boxes will come with items such as books, games, toys, and other physical products to help guide activities and conversations. In addition, each physical box will come with printed cards that provide information including history lessons, features of social justice leaders, spotlights of the non-profits that will benefit from this box, and more! The teacher boxes are similar to the physical boxes, but the curriculum is designed for a classroom setting. The digital subscriptions for parents will include a digital copy of all of the information-packed cards that arrive in the box, but none of the physical products.
These are sensitive issues. We get it. We pack the monthly subscription with resources created specifically for young children in grades K-8th grade by experts in education, and our priority is to ensure they are age-appropriate. Our activities allow you to talk about the issues at the level you feel comfortable with - and no more. Go as deep or stay as surface-level as you want. You know your child and your class best, and you know what is appropriate for them right now. Remember, you can always come back to the resources later when you feel they are ready to dive deeper.
We ship around the 4th of every month, and you'll be billed on the 11th of the month for the next box. If you're a digital subscriber, you can expect your subscription to hit your inbox around the 4th. For the physical subscriptions, they will arrive soon after the 4th. Your first month will be the month after you subscribe. So, if you subscribe in the month of March, you can expect to get your first box in April.
Yes! We offer packages for schools and districts to integrate Little Justice Leaders with all of their teachers. Email Shelby at contact@LittleJusticeLeaders.com for a custom quote.
For every box sold, a donation will be made to a non-profit that is working on the social justice issue addressed in that box. Each month, you and your child or students can feel good about making an impact while you learn about issues that matter.
We care deeply about making sure that every child has the opportunity to learn about social justice, and cost should never be a barrier to helping your child learn about these issues. If you can't afford the digital subscription, contact us and we'll work with you to ensure you don't miss out on teaching your child about justice. Just email us at email@example.com and we'll help figure out how you can get access to our resources at a price you can afford.
At this time, we unfortunately do not offer a digital version for teachers.
With Little Justice Leaders, you are never locked into a contract. You can cancel your subscription anytime online. If you need help, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get your subscription cancelled.
